Ultraformer therapy uses high-intensity ultrasound (HIFU) to lift and tighten the skin. HIFU targets not only the epidermis and dermis, but the SMAS layer too – the layer of tissue that surgeons pull during a surgical facelift procedure.

The levels of discomfort can vary from person to person. The majority of our patients tolerate the treatment without anaesthesia, however, a topical numbing can be applied prior to the procedure to make the treatment feel more comfortable.

We recommend a minimum of 2 treatments, spaced 3 months apart, for significant results. Maintenance treatments are usually performed once a year. Ultraformer is often teamed with tightening treatments at the clinic, such as radiofrequency and Clearlift to maximise results.

This groundbreaking treatment delivers a pixelated laser into the skin, which heats the dermis, stimulating a wound healing response in the skin. It prompts increased production of collagen and elastin, improving skin laxity and health.

This is laser treatment, and so some risk is associated with this treatment. Tanned skin cannot be treated, and some medications can increase your risk of photosensitivity. This is why a thorough skin consultation and patch test will be performed prior to your first treatment, and changes in health will be reviewed regularly.

Your aesthetician will perform a thorough cleanse of your skin first. After goggles are applied, the laser is applied to the skin and the whole process can take anywhere between 30-60 minutes.

The treatment is incredibly comfortable, and you will only experience the slightest bit of warmth. Straight after, the skin can look slightly flushed, but this dissipates within an hour after treatment.

Its gold-plated micro-needles allow for the deeper penetration of the radio frequency at the same time as causing thousands of micro-injuries to the skin. This stimulates the production of new collagen, dramatically tightening and rejuvenating the skin.

INFINI is ideal for treating aesthetic issues such as ageing, sagging, wrinkled skin, acne scarring and skin with pigmentation.

As it Is non-surgical, patients can carry on with their daily lives almost immediately after treatment.

INFINI protects the epidermis where pigment cells are because its needles are insulated. Also, the depth can be adjusted so the heat from the radiofrequency stays in the dermis, below the most superficial layer. Other devices are either not insulated, or try to push heat through the skin, potentially damaging the pigment cells.

The INFINI is safer than a laser, with less downtime, and no risk to the eyes. As stated above, dark skin patients can be treated more safely with the INFINI when compared to a laser because the laser heats the upper layer of skin, the epidermis. Lasers carry the risk of pigment changes in the skin and can make it lighter or darker.

INFINI appears to deliver better results than lasers when treating acne scars. An added benefit is that elastin is also produced (elastosis) in response to a radiofrequency treatment, which is not the case with laser resurfacing treatments.

The neck and décolleté can usually be treated in conjunction with the face. Other possible treatment areas include skin laxity on the arms, knees, stretch marks and scars from surgery. Hyperhidrosis or excessive sweating can also be successfully treated with INFINI. With appropriate training and the correct settings, INFINI can be used on all areas of the body.
